Walk into a modern hospital or doctor's office and you are bound to see nearly every nurse wearing scrubs. The pajama like shirt and pants have become a modern icon of the medical field. Scrubs are comfortable, easy to clean, and don’t hold stains - a necessity when spend all day working with sick patients.
Scrubs certainly have not always been the wardrobe of choice for nurses. Prior to scrubs, nurse uniforms more closely resembled religious garb of the sisterhood. Over the years, nursing wardrobe has definitely become more stylish.
